2. Hosting

The site getgreyspace.com is hosted by:

Cloudflare, Inc.
101 Townsend St
San Francisco, CA 94107
United States
cloudflare.com

The GreySpace API (api.getgreyspace.com) runs on Cloudflare Workers. It serves GreySpace accounts — those of subscribers, and those of people who asked on this website to be told when the app is out: what passes through it is the account holder's email address and, for an account used in the app, a session token and an installation identifier generated locally on the device. The app's free tier works without an account and never calls this API. Full details: Privacy Policy.

3. Intellectual property

The name GreySpace, its logo, the application and its software components are the exclusive property of the publisher. All rights reserved.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, adaptation or exploitation, in whole or in part, of these elements, by any means or process whatsoever, is prohibited without the prior written authorisation of the publisher.

File transfers carried out via GreySpace are performed between devices on the user's local network. The publisher has no access to the content of transferred files and claims no rights over them.

For full details on data collected, legal bases and the exercise of your rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection), see the Privacy Policy.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés).

5. Right of withdrawal (EU)

In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, you have a period of 14 days from the date of purchase to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason.

How it is handled depends on where the subscription was taken out. Bought from this website: refunds are processed by Stripe, our merchant of record, within 14 days of receiving the request. Bought from the App Store or Google Play: the request is handled by Apple or Google under their own terms — the publisher has no control over those refunds.

To exercise this right on a purchase made from this website: send an email to [email protected] with your Stripe order number. For a subscription taken out in a store: use the subscription settings of your Apple or Google account.

After this 14-day period, the subscription can still be cancelled at any time: it then runs until the end of the period already paid for, is not renewed, and is not refunded pro rata. Full details are set out in the Terms of Sale.

6. Limitation of liability

The GreySpace application is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The publisher shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the application, including loss or corruption of data, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Since file transfers are performed exclusively on the user's local network, the publisher exercises no control over such transfers and cannot be held liable for their content.

7. DSA — Single point of contact (EU)

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services (Digital Services Act), the single point of contact for authorities and users is:

📧 [email protected]
Accepted language(s): French, English.

GreySpace is a local-network file transfer software application. It does not constitute an online platform within the meaning of Article 3 of the DSA (no third-party content hosting, no marketplace, no social network).

8. Dispute resolution (EU)

The European online dispute resolution (ODR) platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025, following the repeal of Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. It is therefore no longer a route of redress. In the event of an unresolved dispute, consumers in the European Union may consult the official list of alternative dispute resolution bodies maintained by the European Commission:

9. Governing law

This legal notice is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing amicable resolution, the French courts shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the user's country of residence.
